Chapter 832: Complex
Villain Ch 832. Complex
Allen could almost see Geralt’s confused expression in his mind. He glanced around the quiet corner of the café, ensuring there was no one within earshot, including any nearby security cameras. Satisfied, he took a deep breath and decided to share the news with Geralt. "I’ve found my biological father," he said, his voice low but steady.
There was a brief pause before Geralt’s shocked response. "Really? That’s incredible, Allen! Did he receive you well? Do you have a new family now?" His excitement was clear in his voice.
Allen could hear the genuine excitement and happiness in Geralt’s voice, which made him smile. "Yeah, he did. And yes, I do have a new family now."

Geralt’s tone shifted, becoming more analytical. "Oh, I understand. Does your father have a position in a big company? A successful manager? Is that why you invited me to the company meeting?" he threw some random guesses.
Allen chuckled softly as he could imagine Geralt’s teasing smile behind the phone. "Close. But he’s the owner, not the manager."
There was a brief silence, then Geralt’s voice came back, filled with awe. "Oh my God, it gets even better. Sweet! Tell me the name of the company," he said.
Allen hesitated for a moment, knowing the impact of his next words. "Ever heard of Goldborne?"
The line went silent for a second before Geralt’s voice hitched, and his laughter abruptly stopped. "Goldborne? You mean... Goldborne, who dominates the gaming and electronics industry?"
"That’s why I need your help," Allen explained. "I want you to help convince my stepdad to let Evan go with you. You know how strict he is. He wouldn’t allow Evan to go to another city without his supervision."
Geralt cringed audibly over the phone. "True. He still treats Evan like a kid even though he’s an adult. I’m impressed Evan can still keep up with all of his nonsense."
Allen felt bad for his half brother. "Evan is strong. He’s always been the one to stand up for me, even when it cost him. I just want him to be there for this, but I need to do it without causing a huge fight."
Geralt was quiet for a moment, thinking. "Alright. I’ll do it. I’ll talk to your stepdad and make sure Evan can come. I’ll figure something out."
Allen sighed with relief as he explained the situation to Geralt. "I’ve also prepared a separate invitation for Evan. It still mentions Goldborne, but it doesn’t say anything about me. That way, it’ll look more official and less personal."
Geralt’s voice came through, filled with confidence. "That should make it easier then. I mean, Goldborne is a huge company. I can say they’re looking for potential people to recruit, and in this case, Evan is one of them. With my little charm skills in speaking, I should be able to do it."
Allen laughed, the tension easing from his shoulders as he imagined Geralt using his smooth-talking abilities to convince his stepdad and mom. "I guess I can leave this to you, then?"
"Absolutely," Geralt replied with a chuckle. "Just make sure they make a cool invitation that’s convincing. You know, something that stands out," he said in a joking tone.
"Gotcha," Allen said, feeling a renewed sense of hope. "I’ll get right on that. Thanks, Geralt. You’re a lifesaver."
"Anytime, Allen. Just focus on making everything perfect for the event. I’ll handle the rest."
After those words, Allen ended the call. He took a moment to compose himself before heading back to the table. He felt a sense of relief and anticipation, knowing that Geralt’s help would make a significant difference. Sharing the news with Geralt had made everything feel more real, more grounded.
