Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 971: Romanceable Character

Chapter 971: Romanceable Character

Villain Ch 971. Romanceable Character

"There are two main petitions," the tank explained, crossing his arms and shifting his weight as he spoke. "The first one is to allow players to join the villain side, like actually becoming part of the Devil Emperor’s crew. But the problem with that is, it might totally mess up the game’s balance. I mean, if everyone could just switch sides and become supervillains, it could break the game."

"Yeah," the mage chimed in, nodding in agreement. "That one’s kind of a long shot. The devs would probably reject it because it’d throw the whole game off-kilter. But the second petition? That’s the one really gaining traction."

"Yup." The tank grinned, clearly enjoying the discussion. "The second petition is to make the Devil Emperor a romanceable character. You know, so players can actually pursue a relationship with him in the game."

Allen managed to maintain his composure. "Romanceable? Like, how would that even work?"

The archer laughed softly, clearly amused by his reaction. "Well, you know how the Emperor acts around his subordinates, right? He’s got this whole dark, possessive vibe. There’s that tension. People are really into that dynamic. They want to see more of it—and maybe even be part of it."

The mage nodded again, her excitement palpable. "And it’s not just the dynamic. In the new video, the way the Devil Emperor was so crazily possessive of his succubus? It drove the fanbase wild. Everyone’s talking about it, and the demand for a romance option with him has skyrocketed. I even had to mute my phone because the notifications were about to blow up!"

Allen pressed his lips together, fighting to keep his composure. ’What?!’ he thought, his mind racing. ’But that video should have just been uploaded. That incident wasn’t even half an hour ago!’ The shock was almost too much to process. How could something that had just happened in-game spread so quickly? And how had it become such a sensation in such a short time?

He could feel a mix of disbelief and unease bubbling up inside him, nearly overwhelming his usually calm demeanor.

The tank nodded in agreement. "Yeah, the fan page is pretty active. They’ve got all sorts of content—fan art, theories, discussions about strategy. The link to the Discourd server is usually pinned at the top or in the info section. You can’t miss it."

"Thanks," Allen said, offering a polite nod. "I need to go now. Thank you for the information."

"No problem," the rogue replied, giving him a wave. "Happy hunting, or, uh, whatever, I guess."

Allen forced a chuckle, his heart still pounding as he turned and began walking away from the group. As soon as he was out of earshot, he let out a slow breath, his thoughts racing.

The idea that he had a fan page, let alone one with a Discourd server dedicated to him, was both flattering and deeply unsettling. How had things escalated to this point without him even realizing it?

The thought churned in Allen’s mind, refusing to let go. His steps quickened, almost unconsciously, as if his body was trying to keep up with the racing thoughts in his mind.

He had originally planned to visit the auction NPC just to check on his items and maybe search for some useful gear upgrades. It was supposed to be a relaxed visit, something to kill time before logging off. But now, with this new revelation gnawing at him, his priorities had shifted.

He needed to get through his errands fast so he could investigate this Discourd server and see for himself what was happening.

Allen’s pace quickened, his strides becoming longer and more purposeful. He weaved through the throngs of players, sidestepping those who lingered too long at vendor stalls and dodging the occasional player who stopped abruptly in the middle of the street.
