Chapter 111 Telling the story

Chapter 111 Telling the story

However, Mihawk noticed a young girl following behind Thea, but the brim of her hat was drooping, covering her face, so Mihawk could not see her true appearance.

Could it be that this girl is his biological child?

This thought flashed through Mihawk's mind. After all, he didn't know much about Toya's situation. But now that Toya had come to him, he undoubtedly had something to tell him. Mihawk's memory of the past was still fresh, so when he saw Toya again today, he already had the desire to fight him.

"It's been a long time since we last met, Mihawk." Teya greeted Mihawk with a smile, but Mihawk's face was stern and he didn't smile. He asked Teya directly why he came to visit.

Now that Mihawk himself was being hunted by a bounty, he was skeptical of Toya's arrival. The two had clashed before, though only in a contest, but ultimately they were on opposing sides, and to be frank, there was little to discuss between them.

Seeing Mihawk's indifferent expression, Teya jokingly said, "I didn't come here specifically to look for you, but since we met by chance, I think it's time to greet an old acquaintance."

Mihawk snorted coldly, his brows slightly relaxed, and he said slowly, "You and I are not friends. If you wish to challenge me to a duel of martial arts, I will gladly accept the challenge."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mihawk tried to take the black knife on his back, and Teya quickly raised his hand to stop him.

"I was just passing through here, it was purely coincidental. But I need your help with something."

"Hmm?" Mihawk was surprised to hear that a marine like Toa was seeking help, but the situation piqued his interest. He had no particular destination in mind, simply adrift at sea with nothing to do, so he decided to hear what Toa was seeking.

Seeing that Mihawk didn't refuse outright, Teya took a deep breath and told him the whole story.

Spandane sat at his desk, flipping through a mountain of files, many of them heavily worn. Finally, he pulled out a seemingly handwritten journal. Upon closer inspection, it revealed a record of O'Hara's past. Key points were circled in red ink, all pointing to a name written in the center of the journal: Nicole Robin.

Placed alongside this note was a wanted poster for Robin, which was mottled with marks, showing that someone had deliberately smeared it.

Witnessing all this, Spandine's face darkened as he stood up and walked towards the French window behind him. He gazed at the scenery outside through the window and sighed softly.

Suddenly, there was a noise outside the door, and the door was pushed open. A young man walked into the room, cursing non-stop.

"Damn the red tape! Ah, there you are, Father."

This man was Spandam, the son of Spandane. Although young, his face was full of evil and he exuded a sinister and cunning aura.

"Don't be too old, come here and tell you something."

Spandam appeared quite submissive in front of his father. After a brief whisper, Spandam smiled meaningfully and assured Spandane, "Don't worry, father. I'll handle this matter."

Spandine looked at his son, nodded approvingly, and patted his shoulder gently.

"As for that demon child Nico Robin, I still regret not being able to eradicate her completely. Otherwise, I wouldn't be in so much trouble today."

"From now on, we must capture him and hand him over to the Five Elders for disposal."

After handing over all matters to Spandam, Spandane left the room that had been with him for many years as if he had unloaded a heavy burden.

After Spandine left, Spandam slumped down on the sofa, grabbed Robin's bounty order, crumpled it up and threw it into the trash can.

"Somebody come!"

Spandam rang the copper bell on the table, and two men in black came in.

"Pass the order down and intensify the hunt for Nico Robin, the son of the devil."

"As you command, Lord Spandam!"

After the two subordinates left, Spandam turned around and could no longer conceal his secret joy.

The position I had always dreamed of was finally mine.

"I thought my father was teasing me, but I didn't expect it to be true."

This is not a joke, haha...

At the edge of the island, waves hit the bottom of the cliff facing the sea. Under the sunlight, the waves are like broken silver coins, shining brightly.

Robin looked curiously at the two people facing each other across from her, her big eyes full of confusion.

At this moment, Teya looked at Mihawk with a smile, and the latter responded to Teya with a serious look. The two of them stared at each other for two moments.

"Are you kidding me?" Mihawk finally couldn't stand it anymore and asked. However, Toya shook his head and denied it, "I'm telling you the truth."

When Toya had previously made a request to Mihawk, Mihawk had thought he was joking and nearly got angry. It wasn't until the little girl behind Toya took off her hat and revealed her true face that Mihawk realized Toya was right. The little girl in front of him was none other than Nico Robin, the wanted survivor of O'Hara and the Devil's Child.

However, when Mihawk saw Nico Robin in person, all his doubts vanished. She was wanted because Spandain had framed Robin for Sauron's destruction of a navy ship. However, Mihawk saw immediately that Robin was just an ordinary little girl.

However, Mihawk finds it difficult to accept that Toya asks him to temporarily take care of Robin. Why would Toya, a marine, rescue a little girl who is considered the source of the disaster? Is there a hidden reason behind this?

Mihawk thought for a moment and spoke again, "I don't know what you're planning, but my answer is: no."

Teya had anticipated this result and did not show any surprise.

"I knew you would refuse, so I have an offer you can't refuse."

"Oh? What are the conditions?"

Thea's expression suddenly became solemn. He glanced at Robin, then looked up and stared at Mihawk with a sneer.

"Let's fight again. If you win, I'll agree to one condition. If I win, you must agree to my previous request."
