Lily Turner thought that by using little An’an as a shield, Easton Holmes would stop pestering her endlessly. But she was thinking too much; he didn’t care about little An’an at all.

Easton Holmes seemingly ignored her, carrying her calmly toward the living room. As they passed by the doorway, they suddenly heard someone knocking on the door.

"Someone’s knocking; put me down quickly." Hearing the knocking, Lily Turner urged Easton once again to put her down.

At this moment, Auntie Li, who heard the knocking, walked over from the side. Seeing the situation before her, she paused for a moment but soon returned to normal and walked over to the door.
