Chapter 683: The Domain-Level Teleportation Array
Chapter 683: The Domain-Level Teleportation Array
"We’d be glad to help. Just say the word, we’ll send our best professionals to assist you." Marcellin promised.
Although it wouldn’t bring them much direct benefit, deepening their friendship with the Neon Star Alliance was more than worth it.
"I will. Once I’ve settled my territory, I’ll reach out."
After coming to an agreement, Marcellin bid them a safe journey and manipulated the Azure Heaven Public Trading Zone to send them to the nearest point to the domain-level teleportation array.
Since no one was permitted to establish a territory near the domain array, they would have to traverse the remaining stretch on their own.
Soon, enveloped by the teleportation current, the fleet of ten thousand tier 8 battleships vanished in an instant.
Watching this, the cosmic teams stationed in the public trading zone barely reacted.
Over the past month, they had seen countless teams using the zone as a relay point.
Having heard of the coming upheaval in the wild void territory, they had more than enough of their own problems to worry about.
---
Arriving in an unfamiliar stretch of void, everyone felt dizzy and nauseated.
Fortunately, having anticipated the disorientation, they steadied themselves and regained manual control of the ships.
Watching a swarm of dark beasts begin to close in, each battleship opened fire and cleared them away.
"Supreme Leader, where should we go?"
Still disoriented from the transition, they had no idea where they were or which direction to head.
"Just follow me."
Taking command of one of the S-Class Tier 8 Battleships, Nash led the fleet toward their destination.
Along the way, besides swarms of dark beasts, they also encountered other teams.
In terms of scale and strength, many of them surpassed Nash’s fleet considerably.
Seeing these scenes, everyone quickly forgot about the dark beasts.
Against forces of that magnitude, no faction dared to act presumptuously.
Cosmic team after cosmic team passed by, some stronger, some weaker, with some commanding fleets that numbered in the millions.
"This is unbelievable!"
Although they had always known they were outmatched in foundation compared to most top-level teams, the crew on board couldn’t help but swallow nervously at the sight.
"Stay calm. Keep to the formation. No one is going to attack here."
As they drew closer to the domain-level array, with more and more teams converging from every direction, no one dared to strike first.
Even without any formal rules in place, the first to attack would become everyone else’s target.
It was like sailing in a vast sea, no matter how large any one wave, with fleets streaming in from across the universe, each individual force was just a ripple.
The closer they got to the domain-level teleportation array, the denser the concentration of battleships and the fewer the dark beasts.
At some point, after a few days of sailing, the dark beasts that had blanketed the void seemed to disappear entirely, as if they had never existed.
"We’re close. There shouldn’t be any danger from here on."
Feeling the all-encompassing authority of the Void Administrator, everyone unconsciously relaxed.
According to the information that suddenly appeared in their minds, this was an absolute neutral zone.
Regardless of status or strength, everyone was bound by the same rules here.
"Unfortunately, no one can set up an outpost here. Otherwise, it would be so much more convenient."
"Idiot. If an outpost could be built here, it would have been monopolized long ago."
"True, at least here, everyone is equal..."
The crew began chatting freely, as if they were back home.
Meanwhile, Nash was using the authority granted to him by the Void Administrator to register them in the queue for their turn at the array.
That’s right, a queue. There were so many cosmic teams transferring in every direction that the Void Administrator had been forced to implement a scheduling system.
Fortunately, checking the schedule, their turn was only five days away.
After registering the coordinates of the Neon Star Alliance and notifying everyone, Nash finally had a moment to observe the environment outside.
The domain-level teleportation array was a landmark creation built through the combined efforts of every galactic emperor, the Virtual Administrator, and the Void Administrator.
The scale of the array stretched an entire domain area itself, creating its own rules different from the wild void territory.
Arriving here, Nash could feel that certain invisible shackles he had sensed before had vanished.
"What kind of shackles and rules were those exactly?"
Though he could feel it intuitively, he couldn’t pinpoint their source.
Even with his runic ability, he couldn’t determine their nature.
"Perhaps I’ll be able to understand it once my runic ability advances to a higher level."
Nash had a feeling that the loophole those galactic emperors and the two universe administrators had discovered was the key to conquering the wild void territory.
From the power of will, to the Altier Arcane Tower, to these unknown loopholes, Nash felt he was drawing ever closer to achieving what others considered impossible.
Of course, before any of that could happen, he had to survive first and build a power base strong enough to grab every strand of possibility.
"The domain-level station is on another level entirely."
Looking with the naked eye, the domain-level teleportation array resembled a black hole wrapped in breathtaking technological precision.
Like a beating heart, it pulsed with light every second, sending one cosmic team after another on their way.
When Nash tried to examine its runic composition, he could only feel his vision blur, as though the structure were veiled behind layer upon layer of shifting gauze.
Like Elizabeth’s runic composition, it was ever-changing, a coalescence of truth and illusion.
Even setting aside its veil of protection, just the weight of information that made his mind strain was a level of complexity that far exceeded his current comprehension.
"This structure must have surpassed the planetary level."
Having seen tier 9 Planetary Seedlings and tier 10 Planetary Masters, Nash was certain that what stood before him was a level beyond even those, perhaps two levels higher.
Suddenly, while Nash was peering into the great secrets of this structure, a proximity alert from the battleship’s systems notified them that multiple fleets were converging on their position.
"Supreme Leader, it looks like we’re being approached! Should we move to evade?"
"This is a neutral zone mandated by the Void Administrator. Before they could lay a hand on us, they’d already be expelled." Nash replied, telling them to stand down.
Sure enough, as the various fleets drew closer, a stream of communication requests lit up across the screen.
"Accept the calls. Let’s see what they want."
