Rahu smirked as he looked at the woman standing in front of him. She was beautiful…but right now, she was a trembling mess.
Unlike the mortal Yuno, she had flowing blonde hair that reflected the sun itself. Her back was pressed against the prison wall as she glared at the man in front of her.
"Y-You monster! Where is my innocent Rahu!?"
She roared, and from her hands a brilliant white light flashed, threatening to annihilate every living being.
Seeing this, Rahu's smirk widened as he took a step forward.
"That wimpy bastard had already given me more than enough problems the moment I took over his body…and truth be told…he was dead when I possessed him."
Rahu spoke, surprising the raging Yuno.
"What!!?"
The light was snuffed out in an instant as she heard his words, her entire being trembling violently.
"LIES!!! YOU ARE A DEMON!! THERE'S NO WAY ANYONE COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!"
Her eyes were swirling; something very dangerous was brewing inside them.
Hearing her words, Rahu took a step forward. Stretching his hand, he grabbed her slender neck.
"Why would I lie to a mere ant like you?"
His eyes shone playfully as he watched her struggle. It was indeed amusing to see the sexy woman writhe under him.
For a moment, Yuno stood still. His voice rang in her ears repeatedly. For a moment, a seed of doubt was planted in her mind.
"T-There's no way, I had seen him die many times…but not once did he actually die! He came back alive magically!"
A drop of blood dripped from her eye as she recalled those abnormal moments.
"...What?"
This time, even Rahu's mouth stretched wide. In the next moment, his aura transformed. Millions and billions of times the space around him folded and overlapped, completely wrapping the two of them.
He even went as far as to use his Death Law to envelop them.
"Woman! What the fuck did you just say? He…died more than once!!?"
This was one of the rare moments that Rahu had lost his composure; his grip around her neck tightened, forming deep purple lines. Seeing that she still didn't want to open her mouth, a cruel glint shone in his eyes.
From the tips of his fingers, a wisp of death energy shot out, covering her completely. Seeing the overwhelming death energy surrounding her, Empress Yuno finally let out a panicked yelp!
"W-What are you doing!!!? T-This, why does this feel like Death Energy!!?"
"Woman, it seems you haven't realised the gravity of your situation."
His grip on her neck slowly loosened…as it moved towards her mouth.
"Mmmmpphhh!!! Mmmmpphhh!!! Mmmmpphhh!!!!!!"
Before she could utter something else…

Her head blasted open! Splattering the bloody gore everywhere, Rahu's eyes shone with cruelty when he saw this. But, unsurprisingly, not a single drop fell on his robes.
Dropping the body on the ground, he waved his hand.
And in the next moment, something miraculous happened!
The dead Yuno and her body pieces slowly started to slide towards her neck, joining the messy, torn head.
A few seconds later—
"HUFFFFFHHH!!!!!! HUFFFFFHHH!!!!!! HUFFFFFHHH!!!!!! BLRGHHHHHHH!!!"
Yuno reformed as perfectly as before. Yes…Rahu had brought her back alive.
The moment her consciousness returned…her past memory flooded into her like a tidal wave, filling her head with countless memories…but the moment she saw her death, she vomited…unable to handle the mental strain.
She slowly lifted her gaze, but what she saw next made her blood run cold.
A pair of purple orbs was looking down on her indifferently, as if they were completely detached from existence.
"Speak or die."

Her head blasted again, and Rahu didn't even blink. With a flick of his finger, the body pieces once again began to pull themselves back together, as if they were obeying an invisible god.
A moment later…

Yuno gasped back to life, her entire body shaking violently as her mind was barely able to keep up. She…couldn't even process what had happened to her; the shock was way too great.
Her breathing grew erratic as she looked at the man before her.
"Speak or die," he muttered those words once again; they rang in her mind like a celestial decree.
"No…this...isn't real. My Rahu was never like this!!"
Rahu crouched in front of her as he gripped her head; there was no playful intent in his eyes.
"Woman, I don't care about you, nor do I care about the previous wimp. What I need right now is…answers. And the only thing that is stopping me from reading your memories is…you yourself. I know since you have clones, that memory must be safe somewhere."
The moment his voice echoed inside Yuno, she snapped her head towards him in horror.
"Y-You, how do you…?"
She couldn't help but ask; there was no fucking way someone leaked this secret. Because…she was the only one who knew about this!
"Do you think I got my powers by sitting around and lazing? You are speaking to one of the very few embodiments of death itself. The sooner you realize that…the sooner your suffering will be relieved."
"I'll—I'll!!!!"

Again, she was dead.
Then again.
Again.
Again.
And again.
By the sixth revival, her body still trembled. But her voice had disappeared, her eyes had lost their earlier defiance, and were replaced with something far more fragile.
Fear…an existential, dreadful fear consumed her entire being.
Rahu tilted his head down, "What's the matter? Are you breaking already? This is just the beginning. I can keep doing this…forever. So, you don't have to worry about me running out of energy."
For a brief moment, she faltered. The only thing that made her persist this long was her sheer will.
That's the only thing that had kept her mind barely intact. And now, even that was faltering in front of this demon.
"Speak or…die."
The moment these words echoed, her pupils shrank sharply.
"I'LL TALK!!!"
The words came out from the depths of her heart and tore through her throat before she could even attempt to stop them.
