Chapter 335 Spring Outing 2
Chapter 335 Spring Outing 2
The next morning, the weather was perfect, with bright sunshine, ideal for an outing.
Even before the designated assembly time, the entrance to Z City No. 2 Middle School had already become a sea of noise. Students from all grades and classes gathered from all directions, creating a bustling and joyful atmosphere.
Students from different classes wore their own casual clothes and carried bulging backpacks filled with snacks, drinks, board games, playing cards, and of course, most importantly, cell phones and power banks.
Everyone's face was filled with barely suppressed excitement and anticipation, and the chatter and laughter blended into a vibrant symphony of youth.
According to the school's strict regulations, the spring outing is conducted by class. This means that Lin Yue's Grade 11 (3) class and Yun Yi's Grade 11 (7) class not only take different buses, but also have completely different activity areas, hiking routes, picnic groups, and even rest locations after arriving at the park, making it virtually impossible for them to meet.
This is only natural; if everyone came together, it would have been chaotic long ago, and there was a possibility that some people would get lost.
"Sister Lin Yue! I see our class bus over there! The class monitor is taking attendance! I'm going over there first!" Yun Yi saw the assembly point of his class and the class monitor holding up the sign that read "Grade 1 (7)" from afar. He excitedly waved to Lin Yue and ran towards the direction of the Grade 1 freshmen.
Lin Yue withdrew her gaze and walked towards her own grade 11 area. The class of Grade 11 (3) was relatively more orderly and composed, but the relaxed and cheerful atmosphere was no different.
Class teacher Ms. Li was standing at the bus door with a portable megaphone, trying to maintain order: "Students! Line up according to your student numbers to board the bus! Don't push! Watch your step! Those who get motion sickness, remember to take your motion sickness medicine in advance!"
As one of the two vice class monitors, Li Yuetian naturally assisted the teacher and class monitor at the bus stop along with the other vice class monitor. Holding the class roster, he checked the number of students boarding the bus while guiding them to board in an orderly manner.
Today he was wearing a light gray, breathable tracksuit and faded white sneakers (that sounds a bit odd), which made him look neat and tidy. His tall and upright figure was quite eye-catching in the crowd.
Seeing Lin Yue approach, he looked up, smiled, and nodded at her as a greeting.
Lin Yue nodded slightly in response, and then quietly boarded the bus in order.
She chose a window seat towards the back of the middle and placed her backpack on the empty seat next to her.
The carriage was quickly filled with students, and the air was immediately filled with the mixed aroma of various snacks, along with the vibrant energy unique to adolescence.
The space was gradually filled with the sounds of chattering and laughter, invitations to share snacks, and the start of games.
The car slowly started moving, driving out of the bustling city, and the scenery outside the window was gradually replaced by rolling farmland, lush green hills, and farmhouses scattered among them.
After briefly reiterating a few points about precautions and safety, the teacher in charge of the group generously announced: "Alright, the journey will take about an hour. Everyone is free to do as they please, but please keep the carriage clean!"
Almost the instant the teacher finished speaking, a series of rustling sounds of phones unlocking and games starting up filled the carriage.
Many students couldn't wait to take out their phones, put on their headphones, and instantly immerse themselves in their own worlds.
Some students gathered in small groups, sharing the snacks they brought, chattering about celebrity gossip, holiday anecdotes, or embarrassing incidents involving classmates, bursting into laughter.
Lin Yue took out some cookies from her bag, tore open the packaging, and ate them while reading her novel. The green hills and clear waters presented different layers and colors under the sunlight. She wasn't interested in joining the lively discussions around her; she preferred to enjoy the unique tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle.
However, her quietness didn't last long. Several girls who were usually lively and outgoing, and who could talk to Lin Yue because they were seated close by, quickly noticed her admiring the scenery alone. They exchanged glances, then came over with smiles, each holding a phone.
"Lin Yue, Lin Yue! Don't just read novels by yourself, it's so boring! Come on, let's take a picture together!" Zhou Tingting suggested first, and plopped down in the empty seat next to Lin Yue.
"Yeah, yeah! Let's take a picture together!" Another girl wearing glasses, Zhao Shihhan, chimed in, and without further ado, she leaned her head affectionately to Lin Yue's other side and raised her phone.
Lin Yue subconsciously leaned back slightly, trying to keep a little distance, but looking at her classmates' warm and sincere smiles, she felt embarrassed to refuse.
"Crack! Click!"
Several group photos were quickly snapped. The girls immediately huddled together, heads close together, checking the photos and chattering excitedly.
"Hey Lin Yue, you look so cool! Can you smile a little more?"
"Being good-looking means you can do whatever you want! You look good no matter how you're photographed!"
"My eyes aren't open in this picture! Delete it, delete it!"
"One more! One more! Lin Yue, change your pose..."
Lin Yue was surrounded by their enthusiasm, feeling somewhat helpless, but the feeling was also quite nice.
Just then, Wang Ke, a boy in the class, saw the lively scene and his eyes darted around.
Taking advantage of the moment when Lin Yue was being pulled by the girls to adjust her posture and slightly bent over to reach the sunlight by the window, he secretly raised his phone and pointed the camera at her: "Hehe...good opportunity...candidly snap a picture of Lin Yue..."
However, his little movement was clearly detected by Lin Yue's extraordinary sensitivity. Just as Wang Ke was about to press the shutter button, Lin Yue, as if she had eyes in the back of her head, naturally took a half step to the side, which perfectly blocked Wang Ke's lens from view, allowing Zhou Ting, a girl who was excitedly raising her hand to make a V sign.
"Oh my!" Wang Ke only realized after taking the picture that all that was left in the lens was a close-up of Zhou Tingting's wide smile and a blurry background of the car window.
"Damn... what the hell is this front tooth..." Wang Ke muttered under his breath, rubbing his still slightly numb wrist. He felt extremely uneasy and a little creeped out, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why.
Several boys nearby witnessed the whole thing and let out low, barely suppressed laughter: "What kind of crap is this?!"
"Your candid photography skills are lacking, bro!"
"Does your hand shake when you see Lin Yue?"
"Get lost! Who took pictures of me without my permission! I... I was just openly recording something beautiful! I just wasn't holding the phone properly!" Wang Ke blushed and stubbornly retorted, drawing another round of laughter from his brothers.

The bus continued its smooth journey along the winding mountain road, the carriage still filled with youthful noise and energy, the rustling of snack bags, the sound effects of games, and cheerful laughter all blending together.
After more than an hour's drive, the convoy finally arrived at its destination—the forest park. The students, like birds released from their cages, cheered and surged off the vehicles.
The air is fresh, a welcome change from the city, carrying the scents of earth, grass, and trees. Looking out, distant mountains appear like dark eyebrows, while nearby lakes ripple with turquoise water, and vast expanses of lawn are dazzlingly green, creating a truly refreshing and invigorating scene.
Led by the tour guide and teacher, each class gathered in front of the large guide map at the park entrance. After the precautions and meeting time were emphasized again, the morning activities began as planned—a group hike and a visit to several famous attractions in the park.
The route for Class 3 of Grade 11 was to walk along the lakeside boardwalk and then climb a small hill with a great view.
The students walked in somewhat disorganized lines, stopping frequently to take photos, their laughter echoing through the tranquil mountains and forests.
"Look over there! There are mandarin ducks in the lake!"
"Wow! This tree is so unique, quickly take a picture of it for me!"
"Can someone help me check if my hair is messed up by the wind?"
Lin Yue quietly followed at the back of the class line, occasionally taking out her phone to take a few landscape photos that she thought were well-composed, but most of the time, she just walked quietly, calmly appreciating her surroundings and enjoying this rare outdoor tranquility.
Lin Yue only needed to follow the team, while Li Yuetian had many more things to do.
