Chapter 294 The Secret of the Time Maze

The suction of the vortex seemed to tear time and space apart completely. Lily and the others felt as if their bodies were infinitely stretched and then instantly compressed into a line. They shuttled through this vortex, and they didn't know how many light years they had flown.

Finally, they came to the end of the passage. It was an empty space with a huge crystal ball suspended in the center. Purple light kept flashing inside the crystal ball, as if it carried the power of countless timelines.

"This is the source." Shadow whispered, "The unknown power is hidden in this crystal ball."

"How do we destroy it?" Lin Ye asked.

"Destroy it?" Shadow shook his head. "You can't destroy it, otherwise all timelines will collapse."

"Then what should we do?" Ah Pang looked confused.

"What you need to do is find the balance point of time and guide this force back on track." Shadow explained.

Lily looked at the crystal ball and fell into deep thought. She knew that this was their final test and also the most dangerous step.

"How do I find this balance?" Lily asked.

"You need to enter the crystal ball and experience the flow of time for yourself," Shadow replied, "but this is very dangerous. Once you lose your balance, your existence may be completely wiped out."

"I'm willing to give it a try," Lily said firmly.

Yin Yi wanted to stop her, but seeing Lily's determination, he could only nod silently.
