Chapter 147: Chasing the Time Stone

After discussing with the guardian spirits in the palace, Lily, Qingying and Mo Ran decided to start looking for the Time Stone. While passing through a misty forest, they met a mysterious old man who looked very strange, sitting on a huge mushroom and holding a cane in his hand.

"Young men, are you looking for some treasure?" the old man asked with a smile.

"We are looking for the Time Stone. Have you heard of it?" Lily asked politely.

"The Time and Space Stone, that is a magical thing," the old man stroked his beard, "but if you want to find it, you still need to pass my test."

"Test? We are willing to accept it!" Xiaopang said loudly.

The old man smiled and took out an ancient scroll from his arms: "This is a puzzle. After you solve it, I will tell you the clue to the Time and Space Stone."

Lily took the scroll and everyone gathered together to study it. The puzzle looked complicated, but through the wisdom of the team, they quickly solved the mystery.

"So that's it!" Feng Yang suddenly realized, "This puzzle hints at a secret entrance hidden deep in the forest."

The old man nodded with satisfaction: "Yes, you are really smart. If you follow this direction, you will find the Time and Space Stone."

Everyone followed the old man's instructions and continued to move forward. After passing through a dense jungle, they finally arrived at the location of the thousand-year-old tree. It was a giant tree that towered into the sky, and its trunk was covered with various mysterious runes.

"How do we get in?" asked Xiaopang.

"Looking at this rune, it should require a specific spell." Mo Ran said.

Lily observed the runes carefully, and suddenly an idea flashed in her mind: "I remember seeing a similar spell in an ancient book. Let me try it."

She closed her eyes and began to chant a spell. As she chanted the spell, the runes began to glow, and the trunk slowly cracked, revealing a passage leading to the interior of the tree.

"Let's go in." Lily took the lead into the passage, and the others followed closely behind.

The light in the passage was dim, but the runes around them flickered, guiding them forward. Not long after they walked, they came to a spacious hall, in the center of which was a stone emitting a mysterious light.

"That's the Time and Space Stone!" Xiaopang shouted excitedly.

Lily walked forward carefully and reached out to touch the Time and Space Stone. Instantly, a strong light flashed and the whole hall began to shake.

"What's going on?" Qingying asked nervously.

"It seems we have triggered some kind of mechanism!" Mo Ran said vigilantly.

Suddenly, several huge guardian beasts appeared from all around the hall and rushed towards Lily and the others fiercely. Everyone immediately deployed defenses and the battle was about to begin.

Lily and Qingying worked in perfect harmony, using piano music and magic to restrain the guardian beast; Xiaopang and Feng Yang were responsible for frontal resistance, while Mo Ran was looking for a way to crack the mechanism.

The battle was fierce, but with the cooperation of the team, they finally repelled the guardian beast. Mo Ran also successfully found a way to disarm the mechanism, and the hall returned to peace.

"We succeeded!" Lily said happily.

She picked up the Time and Space Stone and felt the powerful power contained in it. This was the first Time and Space Stone they were looking for, but there were more challenges waiting for them.

"We must move on and find the remaining two Time and Space Stones." Mo Ran said.

Everyone nodded, full of confidence and determination. Although the road ahead was unknown, they knew that as long as they united, they would be able to overcome all difficulties.
