With Lin Feng guiding Xuan Xue, the array slowly started to take shape. As they were drawing the array, Xuan Lian and others came back and landed near them.
When they all looked at Xuan Xue they immediately felt an inherent oppression which was hard to explain in words.
"Xue’er, is this your spiritual sense?" Xuan Lian asked with a bewildered tone as she didn’t totally believe that was the case.
Xuan Xue shook her head. "I am just having a hard time containing my presence after breaking through, so bear with it for some time."
After advancing she hadn’t consolidated her realm so her oppressive presence of being a higher realm cultivator was completely felt by others.
Mu Yao was the only one who didn’t feel that as she was incapable of discerning something like that with her strength.
Lin Feng felt it but it didn’t affect him.
"Breakthrough?"
Everyone who wasn’t aware immediately got stunned.
Xuan Lian immediately caught Xuan Xue’s hand and began inspecting her by squeezing it. "Hmm... you still feel the same."
"What were you expecting to happen? It is still me." Xuan Xue was a little speechless.

Hearing that their grandmother was awake, they all stopped and immediately went to the cave.
After entering inside they found that Bingyin was sitting instead of lying down.

Bingyin picked her up and let her sit near her neck.
"You have gotten a lot stronger than before, Yao’er.." Bingyin sensed her potent vitality and nodded in satisfaction. She then turned her head towards Xuan Xue,"Congratulations, Xue’er, finally you have surpassed the limits of mortality... you might already have become stronger than your own master by now."
Walking the path of Dao was a slow and arduous process, so Bingyin was sure that her disciple hadn’t broken through to the next realm and given the Dao Xue’er was following she was certain that Xuan Xue could definitely match against her.
Xuan Xue bowed. "Thank you, grandmother..."
Bingyin nodded and looked towards the others. "You all have grown stronger by a lot, it seems that Lin Feng—"
"Cough! Grandmother, how are you feeling right now?" Xuan Lian immediately coughed slightly to stop her from saying something which was inappropriate.
"Ahh yes..." Bingyin sighed as she remembered Mu Yao. "You humans have strange relationships... anyway, Feng’er, I saw that you completed the teleportation array but don’t be hasty to leave, make sure to break through first."
Lin Feng nodded as he knew very well that the dangers in the void were enough to kill him in the blink of an eye if he was careless, so reaching the Initiation Realm was the safer choice. "I will, grandmother, not to mention I still have to accomplish one more task..."
"And that is?" Bingyin got curious immediately, any task he thought important enough to mention was definitely something heaven defying.
Lin Feng sighed, he hadn’t told them about his plans before since he wasn’t even sure if it was possible or not and also their reactions,"To let the Eternal Dao Lotus take root in my soul sea..."
This was something he had wanted to do the moment he found the Chaos Seed.
Bingyin got surprised and even slightly stunned. "Is that even possible?"
Lin Feng shook his head. "I don’t know, but logically it might work in a similar way as a soul bound weapon."
Xuan Xue and the others got stunned too, Lin Feng had just made them worried to death by using the seed to fuse with his dantian, now he wanted to put himself in danger again by experimenting with his soul.
"What made you think that the Eternal Dao Lotus would let you refine it?"
Bingyin might not know very much about the Eternal Dao Lotus but she knew some aspects. There was a reason why till now it hadn’t ever been claimed by anyone.
"I am not going to refine it, grandmother..." Lin Feng knew very well that it was impossible. Refining the Eternal Dao Lotus was equivalent to killing its sentience and that was something he himself didn’t want to do, forget about the Eternal Dao Lotus letting him do it. "I am going to ask it nicely to take root in my soul..."
Bingyin’s eyes widened slightly. "The Chaos Seed... I see, this is interesting, I really want to see you succeed now..."
She really was interested in seeing what kind of effect the Eternal Dao Lotus would bring to Lin Feng.
Just as Bingyin finished speaking, the others finally got the chance to show their dissatisfaction.

Slowly everyone showed their dissatisfaction with his decision, only Xuan Xue stayed quiet.
Lin Feng was expecting their disapproval, that was why he wanted to avoid mentioning it earlier. Now that he was about to do it, he wouldn’t have been able to hide it anyway.
In the end he could only shake his head. "Don’t worry, if I feel even the slightest discomfort then I will remove it immediately."
Their worries were not unfounded, the Eternal Dao Lotus was a very enigmatic entity. It didn’t like being restricted inside anything. That was why no barrier or storage ring could hold it.
His soul sea might look vast from inside but that was just an illusion. So he wasn’t sure if the Eternal Dao Lotus would see it as a restricting place or not, nonetheless, there was no harm in trying.
