Chapter 115 Yukimura Seiichi 39
Chapter 115 Yukimura Seiichi 39
Qingyue stopped opposite him: "Where are we going?"
"Would you like to change your clothes before climbing the mountain?" Yukimura Seiichi pointed to the mountain peaks not far away.
Qingyue: "???"
climb mountains?
Hiking in the middle of the night?
What a fuss!
"I won't change it, I can still go up here!" Qingyue said stubbornly and defiantly.
Yukimura Seiichi clenched his fist and put it to his mouth to hide his smile: "Then let's go."
Qingyue gritted her teeth and snorted. Fine, I'll go then. Xi En was right, what a wicked man.
Who would have thought that inviting someone to go hiking alone in the middle of the night would be so unromantic? She must have misunderstood. Perhaps Sanada and the others were already waiting for them at the summit, to watch the sunrise?
The two walked sideways down a side path.
Several heads popped out of the villa's windows, watching the two figures leave.
"Wow, they're already taking action?"
Marui Bunta was extremely excited and couldn't stop shaking his body.
"What is the minister up to? Taking my cousin out so late at night, is he planning something bad?" Kirihara Akaya said, increasingly feeling that his cousin was going to suffer. "No, I have to follow them and see."
"Save your breath." Yanagi Renji grabbed Kirihara Akaya by the back of his neck: "Yukimura just chose a nice place to confess at night, it's not as sordid as you think."
Kirihara Akaya looked completely bewildered: "Huh? What's the scenery like at night?"
“Yeah, at night it’s pitch black, just trees and more trees.” Jackal Kuwabara didn’t understand either.
There's not much scenery during the day, so what's there to see at night?
Liu Lian'er smiled gently: "That's because you haven't observed carefully enough. There really is a place here with beautiful scenery at night."
This was something he had been keeping an eye on and paying attention to. There was nothing wrong during the day, but things were different at night.
Everyone: "Where?"
Liu Lianji smiled but did not answer. If he did, one or two people would probably come over to watch the excitement when it was late at night. It was better not to disturb Yukimura's good time.
Niou Masaharu grinned mischievously: "Pfft, are we really not going to follow behind and take a look?"
Yagyu Hiroshi: "Are you sure you want to follow Yukimura?"
No sooner had they finished speaking than everyone was struck by lightning and charred.
They almost forgot that person was Yukimura. If it were Sanada, they would have followed along to watch the show even if they got beaten up and scolded.
Genichiro Sanada: "..." Do you guys have any manners?!
Genichiro Sanada glanced out the window, but there was nothing left to see.
"It's late, everyone go to sleep. We'll double the training tomorrow."
"Yes~"
The responses from the crowd were weak and listless.
It's outrageous that we can't even watch the excitement and have to do extra training!
In the forest.
Qingyue tilted her head back and asked, "Are we going to the mountaintop to watch the sunrise?"
"Also."
The path was narrow, and the hands of two people walking side by side would occasionally touch.
The next time they met, Yukimura Seiichi simply took her hand and led her away with an unfazed expression.
Qingyue looked down at her hand being held, wondering if she had misunderstood something.
Never mind, even if she misunderstood, she can still do it herself; there's always this hurdle to overcome.
After walking continuously for two and a half hours, Qingyue's heels started to hurt.
Yukimura Seiichi saw her kick off her shoes and then half-squatted down: "I'll carry you on my back."
Qingyue didn't climb directly onto his back, but asked instead.
"How far is it?"
Murakami looked ahead and estimated, "About half an hour more."
"I can still hold on, let's keep going."
She refused to change her clothes, so she endured the pain. She'll learn her lesson next time. Sometimes, when given a way out, take it; don't be stubborn.
Helpless, Yukimura Seiichi simply wrapped his arms around her waist, slipped his hands under her knees, and lifted her up.
Since she wouldn't lie down, he would pick her up himself; the effect would be the same. If they continued walking, her legs would go weak, and her thighs and calves would cramp. She wouldn't recover without a few days of rest.
"Eh."
Suddenly losing her footing, Qingyue instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck and looked up at his chin. Luckily, he didn't look down, otherwise the scene would have been rather unsightly.
“It was my oversight that I didn’t tell you in advance.” Yukimura Seiichi lifted his foot and continued forward.
Qingyue muttered softly, "No, I forgot we're still in the training camp and wearing boots."
"Let's stop blaming each other."
"Um…"
Qingyue leaned quietly against his chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat. As she listened, she closed her eyes and fell asleep without realizing it.
Having not felt any movement from the person in his arms for a long time, Yukimura Seiichi looked down and saw that the girl was sleeping soundly.
His lips couldn't help but curve upwards, and a smile spread across his face.
Does this mean that she feels safe and secure with him, and can sleep soundly?
Slow down your pace so that she can sleep more peacefully.
An hour later, we arrived at our destination.
Even if I don't have the heart to wake her up, I still have to wake her up; I don't want her to miss this scene.
Yukimura Seiichi changed to holding her with one arm and gently poked her face with the other.
"Wake up, we're here. If you don't open your eyes, you'll miss it."
Hearing the noise, Qingyue's eyelashes fluttered, and she opened her eyes.
Seeing that she was fully awake, Yukimura Seiichi put her down and waited for her to stand up before removing his hand.
Qingyue looked around.
A look of amazement flashed in my eyes; what a beautiful place.
Before me lay a lake of moderate size, and in front of it was a huge waterfall, hollowed out without any trees in the middle. Moonlight streamed down from above, making the dark forest clearly visible, and a magnificent rainbow arched beneath the waterfall.
Green fluorescent lights flickered all around; those were fireflies, twinkling and dancing with the stars in the sky.
The ground was covered with simple wildflowers, and fireflies perched on them, adding a unique touch of color.
"This place is so beautiful." Qingyue's gaze was captivated by the scenery before her.
Yukimura Seiichi had to speak up to remind himself that he was also there: "Has Tsukishiro already forgotten about me?"
"No...no."
Qingyue regained her senses and was no longer captivated by the scenery before her.
Yukimura Seiichi approached her, his mysterious deep purple eyes filled with tenderness.
Under that gaze, Qingyue suppressed the pounding in her heart. What was he going to do?
Yukimura Seiichi stared intently at her.
He was no longer confused, and he would never lose his way in anything, especially when it came to her.
"Tsukishiro, I, Yukimura Seiichi, love you, Tsukishiro Qingyue, and I want to spend every day and night with you from now on."
Qingyue clutched the hem of her clothes, a faint blush spreading across her fair cheeks.
Unexpectedly, Yukimura Seiichi acted faster than her; she thought she would have to take the initiative.
"I, Yuecheng Qingyue, also love Yukimura Seiichi, and I wish to spend the long years to come with you, through day and night."
After saying that, Qingyue leaned forward and threw herself onto him, and Yukimura Seiichi hugged her tightly.
This time, he had a legitimate reason to embrace her.
"Thank you, Yuecheng. No, thank you, Qingyue, for accepting me."
No matter how much her parents' passing affects her, as long as she's willing to open her heart, that's enough; he will always be there for her.
