Chapter 190: Inquire about information

"Oh? Go looking for it now? Interesting. So where are you planning to look? If you can't find it, your friend will be killed," the red mouse said with a mocking smile.

"There are bars and restaurants all around here, I don't believe I can't find one," I replied with certainty.

"Squeak squeak squeak, interesting. At least your courage is interesting. How about this, don't say I'm bullying you. There's a dessert room on the third floor of this Pure Love House. There should be cheese in there. Once you find it, then we'll make a deal." After the red mouse finished speaking, it closed the door and left.

We were left all alone. I never imagined I would have to steal cheese one day. What I never expected was that I would be stealing it with a mouse, and even if we did steal it, we would have to give it to someone else.

Since things have come to this, we have no choice but to steal. After all, the pawnshop staff said that if we don't have anything to exchange, they won't give us any information.

I thought the lab rat's cousin was some big shot, but all he did was tell us the location of the pawnshop. We still have to solve the problem ourselves.

Not only did they not tell us where the address was, but they also didn't provide any help. Now they're even making us find things ourselves to exchange for information. This feels so unfair.

Since things had already come to this, and there was no other way out, we had no choice but to run towards that Pure Love Bar.

Fortunately, it's daytime and there aren't many people around, but it's still a bit much to have a white mouse running around in a bar.

So I decided to go in first to scout out the situation, and let the white mouse and Dafu hide in a safe corner and wait for me to come back.

So I said to the white mouse, "Little White, you and Dafu hide in the corner and wait for me to come back. I'm going to go and find out if the cheese is really up there. You guys wait for me to come back."

"No, it's too dangerous. I want to go with you." I had barely finished speaking when Dafu immediately objected, calling out urgently.

"I'm just going to gather some information. Why are you following me? Besides, I can fly, what danger could I possibly face? Even if I find it, I'll still need your help. At the very least, I'll need Xiaobai's help. Otherwise, how am I supposed to get such a big cheese out?" I could only explain stubbornly, since I really was just going up to gather some information. It was Xiaobai who was actually responsible for moving it.

"Really? You have to be careful. If you encounter any danger, come out immediately," Dafu said anxiously from the side.

"Alright, I got it. You two go find a place to hide and wait for me to come back." After giving Xiaobai and Dafu some instructions, I flew towards the Pure Love Bar.

Fortunately, although it wasn't the busiest time yet, the door was only half-open, so I flew in through the crack.

Although it's not the busiest time yet, there are already a few people inside drinking and chatting.

But what's a bit strange is that it's full of men, not a single girl. But then again, it's normal. It's broad daylight, so it's normal that there aren't many people. It's also normal that no girls come to the bar, right?

So I didn't bother saying anything more and just flew up to the second floor. This bar is really big, with three floors. The cheese is on the third floor. I've never heard of a bar with a cake room on the third floor.

As I flew up to the second level, I was observing the route, figuring out how the little mouse would sneak up without being discovered and still be able to take the cheese out.

The good news is that there aren't many people around now, so if you're careful, you'll be fine. But the bad news is that there's no other way to get upstairs except by the stairs. If you run into someone while going upstairs, it's practically a death sentence.

I flew to the second floor with a heavy heart. The second floor consisted of individual rooms, and the corridor was empty. At the end of the corridor, I could hear faint music, which I guessed was from a bar's private rooms.

I'm here to scout things out, and I have absolutely no interest in the room itself. I'd rather go check out the third floor. So I hurriedly rushed up to the third floor.

But to my surprise, there was a big lock on it, and a sign that said the start and end times.

Oh my god, is that for real? It's not even work hours yet, so the door won't open? Is this some kind of ridiculous situation? Can't they just work an early shift?

I was so frustrated! Even though the door was closed, I had no choice but to fly back up to the second floor and then fly out to the window, trying to get to the third-floor window from the outside.

But to my surprise, the window above was also closed. However, when I looked inside through the window above, I didn't find any trace of cheese.

Were we tricked by that red mouse? No way! What would that red mouse want from us? We wouldn't get anything out of it.

Undeterred, I went to another room and looked inside again, but there was still nothing there. Apart from some strange furniture, there was no cheese, or even anything edible.

I still looked into the other rooms, unwilling to give up, but there was nothing there. How could there be nothing? Could it be hidden inside that I couldn't see?

Or is there a small room specifically for making cakes and storing cheese, so there are no windows to see inside?

Frustrated, I flew around in the air for a while before giving up. So I flew towards where the white mouse was hiding. Now I could only wait for an opportunity to go up and search when the door opened.

When I got down there, the little white mouse was eating a small bone, looking rather bored. I don't know where it found it, but it was eating it with great relish.

They didn't seem worried about me at all, which infuriated me. I desperately tried to find out what was going on, only to find these two eating with great relish. What kind of behavior is this?

They didn't invite me to eat, didn't they know I haven't had breakfast or lunch yet? I've been starving ever since.

I flew over directly, and when I got closer, I realized that the little white mouse was eating a piece of duck neck. I don't know where it found it. It and Dafu were eating it happily. The little white mouse was eating with its little paws in front of its mouth, just like a squirrel, while Dafu was eating with relish on the other side.

Wow, those two really know how to enjoy themselves! I quickly flew over, pushed Dafu aside a bit, and started eating too. I had to fill my stomach first, no matter what.

I had just taken a bite when Dafu noticed I was back and excitedly called out, "Yimao Er, you're back! How's it going up there? Did you find out everything?"
